I'm Chandan Singh, a writer based in British Columbia with a decade of experience in content creation. A few years ago I became genuinely curious about solar energy and sustainable living — the kind of curiosity that sends you down rabbit holes at midnight reading about battery chemistry and peak sun hours.

I'm not a licensed electrician or solar installer. I'm a writer who went deep on a subject, built the tools I wished existed, and kept improving them based on what visitors actually needed. Every calculator on this site is reviewed for accuracy and updated regularly.
